so support global community tree plantation projects in deprived countries

We Need Trees...
Trees are important for everybody, offering a source of food, shade,
shelter and providing people with oxygen, wood, furniture and homes...
Trees have many positive environmental effects too... helping to stabalise
the land, preventing erosion, absorbing nasty carbon, cooling down
the planet, aswell as benefiting birds, animals and other vegetation.
Sadly there are not enough trees in the parts of the world which need
them the most...

a tree yourself, offset the carbon you use, or even dedicate a tree
as a special gift for a loved one, or to mark a special occassion.
Sponsoring Trees with Treasured Trees can offset the Carbon you use
in your everyday life.
Carbon Offsetting
involves purchasing Trees which would absorb as much Carbon as you,
your family or business would use in a year. Offsetting Carbon is
fantastic; it means that the world gets more trees!!! However Carbon
Offsetting is much more effective when done at the same time as making
a conscious effort to reduce your personal Carbon Footprint.
The average person in
the UK uses around 10 tonnes of C02 per year, whilst a fully grown
Tree can take in 1 Ton of CO2 in 12 months. That’s
10 fully grown trees needed to absorb one person’s annual Carbon
footprint!!
A sponsored Tree makes a wonderful and ethical gift whether it be
for a wedding, christening, civil partnership, anniversary, birthday
or corporate gift. Many people also choose to dedicate trees in the
name of their loved one. All sponsorships and dedications are recorded
on a personalised certificate which you would be produ to display
on your wall.
